I decided to start blogging about Jordan from the moment I found out I was pregnant. Jordan was born with a little arm that didn't grow like most babies. Her left arm stopped just above the elbow. Now I'm committed to making sure Jordan gets everything out of life. We feel blessed to be the parents of a very special little girl.

Sentences

I swear Jordan is going to speak full understandable sentences in the next few days. Every hour as she grows, it seems like her words are better, clearer... and prouder.

This is so fun.

You know, the timing is interesting, because it follows with a theory that Soul Mate and I have developed about our own little guy. It seems that his speech improves exponentially when we are around people who don't see him every day (i.e. when we travel to see our families). Every time we go on a trip, we notice a remarkable difference in his level of communication. We have decided that it's because he has to work harder to communicate with people who don't get what he's saying immediately. That's just our non-scientific, non-professional assessment, anyway. Glad to hear she's doing so well!
