I decided to start blogging about Jordan from the moment I found out I was pregnant. Jordan was born with a little arm that didn't grow like most babies. Her left arm stopped just above the elbow. Now I'm committed to making sure Jordan gets everything out of life. We feel blessed to be the parents of a very special little girl.

your daughter is precious! my twins were born 15 weeks early and one of my girls has a special leg we call "Lily". at 1 day old, she had gotten a blood clot that turned gang green and started to turn necrosis. we prayed and prayed that God would heal her little leg and just in time before an amputation at the knee was to take place (on my little 1.3 pound baby) the doctors saw a sign of hope in her toe. She was able to keep her whole leg, but has had a few surgeries on it and will continue to be followed by shriners hospital.
it's tough some days to have a child with a special limb. especially now that my daughter is in school (kindergarten), there are alot of questions from other kids.
she's lucky she has her sister to help her out with sticky situations, stares and questions.
i fully enjoyed reading your story of delivery. it has inspired me to perhaps write one on my blog for both of my pregnancies (seeing that they were both SO different).
well have a great rest of the week and feel free to stop on over to my site :)
