I decided to start blogging about Jordan from the moment I found out I was pregnant. Jordan was born with a little arm that didn't grow like most babies. Her left arm stopped just above the elbow. Now I'm committed to making sure Jordan gets everything out of life. We feel blessed to be the parents of a very special little girl.

We did the same journey to Houston last March. I hope your hotel is better than ours. Bleh!
There is a great park not far from the office. Ask them about it if you need a place to let the kids run around and blow off steam.
We have a lot of ambivalent feelings about our son's prosthesis and it took a lot of time for all of us to get used to it. The myo is very heavy and it will probably hang at her side at first. It took Riley about a month to build up the strength for it so it didn't just hang.
Please know that we are hoping the best for you and Jordan.
Good luck.

Me again. With that said, Riley wears his myo every day and has started to use it functionally with weekly OT services. I feel we made the right decision. We were very pleased with the way the company handled everything. They are great people.
Tell Kim we said Hi. Linda too!
